That didn't last long. Might be him done as a manager now, I reckon.

I think that's probably the end of his managerial career now. Not many clubs would take on somebody who quit their last job with the team 7 points from safety and 6 games to play.

Probably. This is football though. A world where Frank Lampard gets the Chelsea job back.

Has he got a relegation on his CV? Perhaps he’s decided Blackpool is a lost cause.

He should enjoy putting his feet up after a successful career.

Yeah I think the game has unfortunately moved passed his style of management. Enjoy your retirement Big Mick if thats what you so choose

If they've got any sense they will get Neil Critcheley back in PDQ. Would be a great return to his most successful club.

But he’s only a whipper snapper at the side of Warnock!

Very strange appointment to start off with. No surprise he's left before the end of the season.

For me, Mick is an outstanding man, was a superb player and a very successful manager.

Agreed. I just think this was a bad decision on his part. He's man enough to accept mistakes. Blackpool & Wigan are as good as down.

I don't think anyone can argue with that. I think his managerial career peaked a long time ago though probably early 2010s.

He can carry on managing for many years he’s just got to decide whether he’s willing to drop to the 3rd tier or not.

Tough job at Blackpool, clearly one of the 3 worst squads in the division for me (alongside Rotherham & Wigan) & losing a couple of their best players to long term injury in his first week in the job wasn’t ideal either.
