We were trying to play football against a team playing ANYTHING BUT football.

I was shouting "yours Isted" then it seemed to swerve away from him.

I'd be appealing that, if it's 3 games

Thought Kane had a steady game today

As a long standing BFC fan, we're doing something right if a 10-man win is 5/10.

i think his passing and influence (both of which are vital to us) have been off. Maybe he is trying to force things a bit too much.

Mads was only one game as it was for denial of goalscoring opportunity.

Serious foul play and violent conduct are three games. This will come under serious foul play. Watters got three games.

Hard to tell on the angle we’ve seen whether it’s worth an appeal but it’s nowhere near as dangerous, hard or cynical as the tackles on Kane near the dugouts and Luke Thomas in midfield.

    Eltringham is absolute babber.

I thought the Shrews would be dangerous today, with nothing to lose now as their Play off challenge is over.
But far from playing it like an end of season game, they were very dirty and cowardly, which really sums up their boss Cotterill.
And once again, it doesn't help when the ref is as weak as hell, and allowing them to do what they kept doing.
Its a big result for us though after the Burton disappointment, one we definitely needed and deserved.

When Istead first came in he was picking them out of the air for fun; seems to have stopped coming for high balls of late.

Only thing I would say to that was at pitch side for most of the warm up and the wind was really affecting the ball in the air during that.

He could have headed it in to a empty net.

I've looked at it again mate it was bad imo.

Yup, just watched it back, he allowed it to come down on to his chest, presumably to then kick it into the neck but this gave the defender time to get back, if he had headed it straight in it there would have been no chance to stop it.

But, hindsight and the ability to see what's behind you are not what happens in these circumstances, he'll learn for the next time though.

Was a poor miss for me. He should have headed it into an open goal. Was no need to try and bring it down. Not that it matters now, we won anyway.
