I understand why he was angry and pent up reading that, but what a nob head. The bouncer was absolutely correct in stopping them entering when from his point of view he didn't know anything and would be able to tell they were just looking for trouble.

Idiotic. Did Bolton ever do anything?

I'm surprised that Bolton have allowed him to continue playing, while the court case has been happening. Wonder if they'll discipline him internally now? Probably not.

To be honest, the Bolton manager always gives me the impression that he'd probably give him a pat on the back and a pay rise for it.

Considering he’s been convicted I’m surprised they haven’t sacked him never mind kept playing him during the process.

Is this the guy we tried to buy from Carlisle and he choose to go to Huddersfield instead?

12 months jail, suspended for 18 months, 200 hours community service and £1500 to the bouncer.

I'd be very confused and disappointed if Kyle Dempsey was allowed to play for Bolton without and no internal disciplinary proceedings from them. Surely he can't be still be playing for them?

If that was a member of our squad i'd want him sacked. A normal member of public would be dismissed from their job in the same situation so the same should happen to footballers.

Entirely down to Bolton through and they've kept a silence since the verdict.
What may not help Dempsey's cause is the statement in his defence that the club put out. This was based on Dempsey's version of the truth, which when the cctv came to light was proved to be a pack of lies and caused Dempsey to change his plea to guilty.
If he was a squad player he'd be gone. As he's key to their chances of making the play offs they'll find some way of spinning it.

Yes, you're spot on. It was during Danny's second stint, and I think we were quoted a price of around £400k

Doubt they will. Crazy we can lose a player for three games for a challenge, yet Bolton have a player who will miss no games after committing a crime.

Be a lot of players that have/had got a criminal record. And a lot for violence outside football. But stayed in the game.
    Eg
    Joey Barton
    Marlon king
    Vinnie Jones.

Didn't know that about evans or maybe forgot did he get compensated and found not guilty for it? Bit bad when he served a full jail term for it.

He was found not guilty at the retrial.
    Found this

Ched Evans has agreed an out of court settlement of around £800,000 from the lawyers who defended him against a rape allegation where he was jailed for two and a half years.

The striker, was playing for Sheffield United when he was originally convicted following a trial of raping a woman in 2011.

Evans was freed after serving half of a five year sentence and vowed to fight to clear his name.

In 2016 he was awarded a retrial. The second trial at Cardiff Crown Court resulted in a not guilty verdict.

Evans was due to face Brabners in the High Court in London this month, but an out of court settlement was reached.

We are glad that Ched Evans has agreed not to pursue this case, which we believe was entirely without merit. Brabners put forward a strong defence of Mr Evans claim following a thorough process and we were prepared to vigorously defend our handling of the case.

    Brabners statement
