Murphy? Cardiff paid 11 million for him a few years ago. Played plenty in the premier league for Norwich & Cardiff and even more in the championship. Great player on the ball & in attacking positions. Dreadful player for helping his teammates and defending, tracking back etc. I suppose that's why he's dropped into a relegation threatened league one side.
He ran superbly on a number of occasions when he came on, and made a couple of lovely passes. His twin brother plays for Newcastle bud

That's true, actually. I suppose he/Oxford wouldn't have expected them to have been relegation threatened. Still should be playing at a higher level with his ability, shame about his attitude/determination or whatever
I've thought the same about them as a club, Oxford really should be Play off contenders in this division. The Swindon fans though are absolutely delighted to see them struggling lol.

I vaguely recall him running the game against us a few years ago for Norwich, at Carrow Road. Might have even scored a couple. They've a great side on paper, Yannick Wildschut is another one who I've always rated. Bizarre how they've gone on such a poor run this season. They didn't seem as poor as some of the other sides we've faced down the bottom of the table this season either.
I was thinking the exact same when I saw their lineup. Actually thought we might only get a point. It’s clear to see that they like to play a bit of football and do most things well until they’ve got to put the ball in the back of the net. I’m sure that I read Brannagan (their number 8) is one of the highest paid players in league one. Came through the Liverpool academy.
