    I take it Geography is not your strong subject, its a long long way from Reading to Cheltenham plus they are coming down, absolute guess work

    Why would you leave to still be 70 miles from home, at a club that has had points deducted in each of the last two seasons?

    Indeed, but then up until the start of this season I think we may well have been similarly viewed as a ‘basket case’ in some quarters.

    Who is comparing it to Barnsley ? it was said Reading was close to Cheltenham , its not , also it keeps getting mentioned about how far he has to come & somehow this will effect him staying with us, I feel sure that Mr Duff would have been well aware of how long it would take him to come to Oakwell before he accepted the job with us but it would appear that finding a reason for Duff to leave seems to please some on here

    No surprise is it though, that people get nervous? If we get anybody good, playing or coaching wise, the vultures always start to circle and we end up losing them.
    There's history and we all just come to expect it.....sadly.

    He certainly won't have taken this job without weighing EVERYTHING thing up. Big discussions with his Wife and family for sure,he saw something at this club which helped him make his mind up because it definitely wasn't in a good place. He's helped/ helping turn it round big style ,enjoy it while it lasts.

    Its the football food chain, I bet Cheltenham fans were distraught when we took Duff off them but to be honest one bit of speculation about a job thats not even available yet & our forums are awash with doom & gloom , its just a Nixon rumour , believe what you want to believe I suppose but I would take rumours with a pinch of salt .
