Glad I’m not the only one. I watched it several times and his ankle got clipped whilst he was running, sending him sprawling. The way he fell suggested it was genuine too, as he fell down like someone who was tripped would do, I.e. messily. He also made an attempt to get back up. The dives are almost always with both feet next to each other, which makes it obvious, as you don’t run with both feet right next to each other. Having both feet on the floor helps you to throw yourself down though.
Part and parcel of the game now unfortunately' it does gaul you when you see that given while the one at Burton gets waved away..
It wasn't a pen and he knew it as did his teamates, they were all smirking and laughing. He was halfway down before the keeper got near him. Cheats do prosper sadly.
Slightest of touches and he was going full belt trying to make up for his bad touch and he did try to stay up definite pen for me.
He lifted his foot up and fell over, if they are giving penalties for that the game is truly stuffed, shithousery of the first order for me
On another note, Luke Berry still at Luton I'd have rather had Jerry the Berry at times when he was here but played okay for Luton last night.
Makes you wonder about the infrastructure at Luton when you don't let your own players play for almost 6 years! Thanks for Harry btw!
It's a penalty for me. Some contact and he stumbles over. For some reason, goalkeepers think they can come hurtling out, get nowhere near the ball and be ok if they just hold their hands back
and forwards know that all they have to do to get a pen is boot the ball into touch and make sure they stick a leg within a millimetre of the keeper. It's called cheating.
Zaha just won a pen for Palace that makes carltons the other night look like a stone waller... shocking from the ref, Zaha and VAR.
