Does anyone know if it's possible to go to rimmingtons prematch if you are sat in the ponty end? Or is it only for people with seats in the east stand?
Buy a rimmingtons ticket, get your ponti end or west stand transfered to to east stand .entrance inside east stand to the left of cooperate entrance. Access via a door to your right on going through turnstiles inside east stand .Should be guided by stewards.go to designated seats in east stand for match .entrance to rimmingtons with your rimmingtons ticket at half time and then back out to your seats. Has its own menu for food. Order when you get to the bar.
I've seen people complain about this cost but when you look at it, having a (nice) bar with food available before the game, access at half time and after the game it's really like a light version of the exec area (indeed it has been used in the past as an exec area). For 5 quid I think that's pretty good going. They are still doing the 30% off in these areas before the game until 30 mins before kickoff. I've heard people say good things about it as well so maybe give it a try? I popped my head round the door after one of the cup games this season and it seemed to still be very busy so I guess people that have tried it like the option.
It’s too small for the numbers they allow in. Couldn’t find anywhere to put down my drink never mind somewhere to eat and who ever thought putting the bar right next to the entrance was a good idea as it stops people entering and exiting. Tried it once wouldn’t do it again, but each to their own.
