Plymouth yes, however, I completely disagree about Ipswich, I think they will go well next season.

Ipswich won’t get every marginal decision of the refs next season either.

*They’re much better than us at scoring goals! That suggests to me that they have more quality up front

Imho just that bit of difference, its what good teams do.
We have been good tonight, 3..0 flaters but they just have that bit of quality. Yes some poor ref decisions but no probs with the result.

I honestly do not agree. With the current team, Ipswich would come straight back down next season, with a few new signings, even on big money, it would be tiny compared to what pretty much every other Championship team pays in wages.

I really think people underestimate the absolutely massive jump in quality from League One to the Championship. It is a huge gulf.

The thing is, Ipswich have deserved this win. But I cannot help feeling bitter because of the constant injustices.

To be honest, I sort of feel worse for the Ipswich supporters. They have to go back to Ipswich after this. Ipswich is a bleak place a million miles from anywhere else in the UK.

Hey Sir Jambo, and fellow Mazda2 driver lol. I agree that its bad, and its getting worse at this level isn't it.
But a lot of fans in the Championship even say the same, about the awful refs.

Fans need to stick with them because that was not a bad performance by any means.

I hope they do. I'll be so disappointed in our fanbase if they boo or turn on the lads or manager. Weve been excellent this season and majority of other seasons we'd be sitting in autos.

The referee is travelling back with them to save on costs. He’s a massive Ipswich Town fan.

Let them have it, it's their biggest game for 20 years according to some of their fans. They've had years and years of mediocrity, now they can celebrate shithousing their way to a win at Barnsley to get promoted from the 3rd tier.

I wouldn’t say we are a one man team and we didn’t play badly tonight but without Connell we look a shadow of our selves.

...or a Sheffield United fan. Silver linings and all that. The ref hurt Wednesday more than he did us tonight.

Got a real hope that the club give no quarter to the snide person in the Ponte end that stole the ball. At the very least a fat invoice for a official match day ball, or a ban. Sets a terrible example when we've already took a hammering on the reputation of the fan base this year.
