I know what it is but I think there's a contract situation at stake here.

Basically, we pay our entrance money and agree at least three things:
    1. Support the Reds
    2. Stay in our seats or at least keep of the pitch
    3. If we are lucky enough to get a touch of the ball THROW IT BACK!

I have no idea what kind of numbskull level someone is on that thinks it is funny or clever to keep the ball and then hide it under a kid's shirt. Things like that just baffle me.

I don't care about opposition fans.

I just wish some of ours would stop being cap ends.

Especially when we're trying to win a game. If we were 2 up, then i could sort of get it.

Shows the intelligence level I guess.

Yes, the bar is very low. I just don't get it at all and if the club really did say it's ok son, take it home, that's unbelievable. I thought we were hard up and I am sure footballs are quite expensive.

If your response to one section of the crowd throwing bottles onto the pitch is to react by saying 'what about the flare?' in another section, you really need to grow up.

Acts of this nature are both criminal and f****** stupid. As is the 'singing' of that horrific IRA/Pope nonsense. Or anything about the size of someone's ****.

It's moronic behaviour and serving only to cost the club time and money, and risking the staging of games with crowds. Simple as.

    So why do it?

As the statement says, the vast majority of our fans at Oakwell behave impeccably.

Sad thing is, if a number of stewards had gone into the crowd looking for the idiots, there'd have been other fans kicking off at the stewards.

Our last play-off home leg was played in front of about 4,000 fans I seem to recall. Let's hope that isn't the case on May 20th.

According to you then it would be perfectly alright for a kid to walk out a sports shop with a top of the range football stuffed up his jumper - is that ok?
Hardly crime of the century, as you say o_O

Chill out mate it’s a football

Throwing of objects Is completely unacceptable that’s what we should be focusing on not a child taking a football home.

To be fair the time he wasted keeping the ball probably saved us conceding again .

Let’s focus on the points made in the statement by BFC ( I don’t recall seeing anything in the statement complaining about the stolen ball )

    You know why?

Because it’s not worth worrying about

I'm chilled. Don't worry about me. It's just that I know the difference between right and wrong and if I had a young lad next to me at the match I wouldn't be encouraging him to steal a football. But, if that's your philosophy, nothing more to say is there?

We said the same. He took it off a kid as they were about to throw it back as well. I watched him and he was very happy with himself afterwards.

So where do you draw the line for unacceptable behaviour?

It's not difficult to understand is it?
In the case of last night:
    * don't throw anything on the pitch
    * don't sing obscene or offensive songs
    * don't steal the match ball.
If you choose to ignore those 3 simple instructions, do not attend football matches at Oakwell.
Do not go to Oakwell. We dont want you there.
If you do decide to ignore the above and get caught (and I hope you do get caught) then I do hope uou get banned for life.
If you are the "responsible" "person" who let the kid steal the ball you need to look inside and ask yourself whether that's the right kind of behaviour you should exhibit. Hope you were filmed also and get caught and get banned.
Utter moronic behaviour by a tiny minority of mindless cretins who have put the club at risk..... again.
    STAY AWAY!!!!!

I think a kid getting the ball is the least of our worries. But I'll leave it there. I said everything I needed to say in the other thread. More needs to be done.

It was worse than letting him. They (there were two guys) actively encouraged and enabled it.

Find them. Ban them for life and announce the bans along with their names. Fcek em. They are not supporters of Barnsley FC they are immature selfish little ******** who only give a toss about themselves.

If they can't control their emotions then stay the **** indoors and stay away from Oakwell.
