EARLY BIRD DEADLINE TODAY Ticket News The Early Bird deadline is now upon us! Continue reading on the official site...
It's a shame people have to gamble on two possible leagues to get the cheap price. By comparison Huddersfield charge 249 quid for a Championship season ticket and our early bird is already much more and we could be in the league below still. After today I can't see many more being sold until July if the feel good factor is still there based on summer transfer dealings.
Genuine question, are there people who won't renew if we don't get promoted? I honestly don't know anyone who's said they're not renewing if we don't go up.
I would get a season ticket regardless of the league but having to work one weekend in 4, working til 8 often on Tuesdays and also having other things planned means I wouldn't make enough games to make it pay
Really? Think it's a decent stadium to be honest and they always seem to generate a good atmosphere too.
Why ? Its a win win at the moment, you get your season ticket at discount price & yet you could end up paying for a division one ticket & end up with championship football , to me they have been on sale for a long time already , absolutely no reason to extend otherwise what is the point of having an early bird incentive .
I've just bought a season for first time in a long time,i attended loads this season because i retired and could get to them on time. I would be mad not to get one at £225 ,if i miss a few iam still quids in.
Seeing if we are dearer or cheaper based on full price comparisons of adult seats behind the goal and kids' season tickets, with other local clubs: Sheffield Wednesday (L1, possibly CH) - £50 dearer / cheapest kids ticket - £45 dearer Sheffield United (PL) - hard to compare full price, as they sold out at renewal (early bird) phase, which were £30 dearer than our Early Bird price / cheapest kids ticket - £66 dearer Leeds United (PL, possibly CH)) - £69 dearer / cheapest kids ticket - £91 dearer Huddersfield Town (CH) - £188 cheaper / cheapest kids ticket - £39 dearer Hull City (CH) - difficult to judge because they don't sell season tickets, they 'subscribe' monthly Rotherham United (CH) - £8 dearer / cheapest kids ticket (under 8s only) - £35 dearer Doncaster Rovers (L2) - £208 cheaper / cheapest kids ticket - £10 dearer Bradford City (L2, possibly L1) - £137 cheaper / cheapest kids ticket - £35 dearer Scunny United (NLN) - £92 cheaper / cheapest kids ticket - free if accompanied by an adult Some very different approaches and good to be able to compare clubs in the region who play in tier 1 right down to tier 6. Our £10 for U14s deal is clearly something to be proud of. And I think the Early Bird pricing structure for the last 8 weeks is good value. Unsure on sales to date, but I'm sure someone could count all of the seats sold on eticketing if they've a spare hour
Crikey....how cheap are Donny's tickets? All though to be fair, it's not reflected in the gates that they get and even at that price you'd feel short changed!
Can’t do the counting yet surely as existing seats are blocked whether or not they are renewed yet aren’t they?
I dont think you understand the concept of EARLY bird Tickets have been on sale for ages and pricing is clear. In any case I doubt there are many who will only renew if we get promoted - but if there are we need to hold it for another month for them to see if we make it to the Championship if we make it which makes a mockery of the entire "Early Bird" idea
Did mine on the finance yesterday - whole thing took about 10 minutes - decision to approve came back quickly. Think they are pretty reasonable to be honest especially considering loses we have made and cost of living making everything so expensive. 450 is steep though on full price so early bird was a no brainer
The blades tickets are cheaper than I thought they'd be and Huddersfields. Renewed mine for Barnsley though, regardless of which league we're in!
I've just bought mine after ten minutes doing some calculations. I didn't renew last year because I was uncertain how many I could get to. In the end I watched every home game either with a match day ticket, a free one (of the four left over) or on iFollow. Obviously next season there would be no free tickets to use so I based my calculations on Season Ticket plus petrol money against not travelling to every match and paying for iFollow coverage instead. The very generous early bird price convinced me that it was a good idea to "re-join the club" so that's what I've done. I like knowing that my seat is there every match whether or not it's me sitting on it. Match day prices next season is obviously an unknown so I decided to go for it. I've got a petrol hybrid car so travel expenses from Harrogate and back are pretty reasonable. Incidentally I saw most away matches on iFollow this season as well so there's another £230 paid on top of my home match expenses. It's been worth it though with some great away days enjoyed from the comfort of my computer chair
