    The family of Paul Kershaw has asked me to notify all those that knew Paul, of his passing on 24 April.

    Paul had been to our game against Oxford United on Saturday 22 April. Immediately after the game he went on a short holiday to Ripon. Unfortunately, he fell ill on Monday and passed away shortly afterwards.

    Paul had been a Barnsley Supporter for over 60 years. Even though his health had deteriorated over the last few years, he continued to follow the Reds with his usual passion home and away. His last away game was at Lincoln City on 18th April 2023.

    His family is aware of the significance of Sunday's game concerning the commemoration of all Reds we have lost this season; they would though like to request all Supporters remember Paul in the 18th minute to show their appreciation for his dedication to the Reds right up until his death.
