I was torn this year between a candidate who shared my last name, a candidate who lives on the next street over to me, and someone who’s name fitted nicely into a movie theme tune song.
Depends on the name of the candidate, it could be Ashley Phalt If there's something deep In your neighbourhood who you gonna call? ASH PHALT If there's broken roads In your neighbourhood Who you gonna call? ASH PHALT He ain't afraid of no holes
Not one bit of info received on candidates so like them I won’t bother. Not voting. Prob is Labour assume too much that they don’t even bother now. Haven’t done our street for years.
No election in Doncaster. I have a passport and a driving licence so could have voted if there was - but I still take exception to this blatant voter manipulation. Not that I see it benefitting one party over another. For every poor younger voter, with no passport and who doesn’t drive - who’d be perceived to vote Labour; there’ll be an old fart with no permitted ID and no desire to get one, that doesn’t like foreigners but liked Boris’s hair, who would probably vote Tory just to spite her dead husband after years of hearing him moan about Thatcher. And yeah I am describing my nanna…!
We had to vote for 4 people on one slip an two on the other, so i gave em all a tick, 4 on first slip an then two on other slip that i missed on first slip i ticked them, aint got a scoooby what i was doing but at least ive voted for all 6 people,
I Voted against Labour. Soley because I know the Labour candidate personally and they are a useless, selfish person who doesn't care about anyone else.
I was presiding officer at a polling station yesterday. I was upset at having to turn away people without approved ID, although, commendably some returned with approved documents.
