    Abraham Lincoln is not someone I quote regularly. " A house divided will never stand". It applies in Amarikka, applies in the UK with workers vs Sunak's mates, applies to the Conway era certainly & seems to apply at Bury.

    Well to be fair love, young un was playing footy in the same team as young James at that time.
    I remember when Patrick was telling me about setting the team up at Dorothy Hymans I went to a few games at that time.
    So really that's how I remember.
    It wasn't looking good at that time as the FA had knocked back the consortium who was buying BFC at that time ,was it Sean Lewis and Co.
    Gudjohn was in charge if I remember and there were doubts we wouldn't start the season.
