Just seen it for the first time, it's Derby so they obviously deserve it for cheating for years but.....how was that even a penalty let alone a red. Defender on the line, keeper still between goal and ball, how?
I reckon there's some kind of invisible quantum wormhole thingummybob* that's sucking up all the penalty decisions that we should have had this season, and depositing them randomly at other games. Our penalty today went to Hillsborough. * a technical term, only understood by Brian Cox.
Posh’s day today. Massive help from refs at both our game and the one at the sty. How the one on Norwood isn’t a pen only one bloke in the stadium knows….
It's bad that. Either you like derby or not it explains what we are up agaisnt with these poor officials. They clearly choose a favourite team before a ball is kicked
Bit rich Derby fans claiming an efl vendetta against them tho, without the leniency they were given they'd have gone the same way as Bury.
I think at full speed, given he did have his hands on them and the piss poor clearance by Wildsmith I can see why the ref gave it.
I know. It wasn't a penalty, Norwood dived and was pretty embarrassing be honest. The ref should have either awarded the penalty or booked Norwood for diving He did neither.
Not what folk watching on tv said. Had texts from a few who said it was a nailed on pen. Same when Cotter was wrestled to the ground from that corner right on half time. Couldn’t really tell from our end.
Gave the foul yes but there's no justification for the red card. Don't forget the linesman is looking straight across so can clearly see all the covering players
I take it you haven't seen the replay from the opposite angle that shows him clearly get tripped then?
It looked pretty blatant from the West Stand but I never expected that to be given. The Norwood one was yet another terrible one though.
