Home ends selling really well and this amount was before general sale started this evening. Should be a sell out.
To answer my own question I’m thinking that was the 80-81 season maybe and they’re queuing for tickets for the Liverpool replay?
Tried to look on the Bolton Web site for the away allocation at Barnsley. Can't find any where how many tickets they have for the second leg. Does anyone know how many Barnsley have given them yet , ????
Lots of issues with online booking. 1 person I know has 3 accounts linked and allus buys 3 tickets for herself. Hubby and mother. It wouldn't assign 3 ticket.seats together, and they had to be booked individually. 2 on row CC 15 seats apart and the other on row BB. My son tried to book 2 tickets online for him and his daughter. but it wouldn't allow him assign em both. Lots in the queue were there for similar reasons. Bear in mind that applied mainly to home tickets. Some Folk were buying. All Home leg. away leg and next seasons season tickets. People turned up unable to purchase online. And eventually managed to purchase when the system was working ok. And left the queue. Some attempted again when this was happening and still failed to purchase. Hope that clears it up for you.
On bolton news. Tickets for the second leg go on sale later this week, and Wanderers are expecting their allocation of just over 2,000 to go quickly. Went to a meeting tonight Baz of the football action group. All SY clubs alongside SYP. . That seemed to confirm that the away allocations were around the 2.1 to 2.3k mark set by the efl at all 4 games. Based on practicalities.
Think it’ll be circa 2k speaking to the in law who works at Wednesday said the allocations were agreed before the final games and out of the 3 they could have played Peterborough offered the most while Derby were less than Bolton. did you know the ticket sales over the games get split 4 ways too so we’ll benefit from Wednesdays massive crowd. Tuna bucks not happy apparently.
Wednesday attendance around the 85,000 mark plus their usual 40,000 taken to away games. x £20 = £2.5m great news.
I don't think so mate as I remember it being foggy when we played Liverpool replay (it was in 1982). Also I don't remember having to queue for tickets, it was pay on the day wasn't it?
I can't remember either mate if I'm honest. The only other really big gate of that era that might have had people queuing for tickets was the Everton cup tie in 1989?
Yeah, I agree that it does. I've watched us since 1973 and I'm sure it's after that but I just can't connect it with anything for certain. Surely someone will know....?
Pboro have allowed all ST holders to have 6 tickets each for Weds. Don Rowingesque. Carnage you would think, but they've not sold out.
Well they only brought 2K on a Sunday afternoon for a Must win to have a chance of playoffs game. Hard to see them taking many more for a Thursday night game. How many have the massives deigned to let them have
Peterborough have given Weds 2358 Weds have given Pboro 2350 Bolton given Barnsley 2113 Barnsley given Bolton ???? Can't see anywhere it's been announced?
