    Another season of underachievement for the Red Devils! As pointed out by Dwight Yorke, they have lost more league games under Ten Hag in their 'rebuild' season than they lost under Ole, yet their fans seem to think they've done great because they won the league cup. The only difference between Utd and Spurs is Spurs know how poor they are.

    Think that's a bit harsh lumping them together! Manchester city's squad is way better, plus they've had the experience of winning the title.

    Normally id agree, but if it was Manchester United in their position they'd also be getting hammered. You can't spend 90% of the season top, after spending 200+ million last few transfer windows, and then in the positions they were, I.e 2 up at Liverpool (fair enough), but then 2 nil up against West ham (when they were really really crap), missing a pen and then drawing, then drawing at home to Southampton. They also lost to Everton month earlier. They were 11 points clear, 7 when played equal games as City. All that together (especially with money spent) is a bottle job. They cheated us out of being in higher league, ill mention it every time, so fk 'em;)

    How can Beighton get tonked at home to Everton one week and then go away to Arsenal the following week and do that? Makes no sense.

    Just football. Same reason City tonk teams 6/7 nil then draw to Everton & Forest. Same reason Manchester united got tonked 7-0 by Liverpool & beat City

    I don’t think they’re bottle jobs. They’ve been really lucky in that they had their first eleven fit every week for months then they lost Jesus & still found a way to win but then losing Saliba & Zinchenko on top of Jesus & then Partey losing form did for them. They don’t have a top quality squad. Back ups nowhere near as good.

    Holding & the young Polish centre back nowhere near the quality of Gabriel & Saliba especially.

    Also got to remember just how good City are. You used to be able to win a league with the points Arsenal already have in most of the premier leagues until Pep took over at City.

    The term “bottle job” is used way too much in sport. 9 times out of 10 it’s complete nonsense.
