Ordinarily no, but tomorrow is going to be a bit special and if we win, then so be it. I wouldn’t want a handful of them getting bans when most of them won’t
I don't want any of them getting a ban. I want them all to do the right thing, stay off the pitch and hopefully allow the players to come back out and enjoy the atmosphere post match.
Every season if a club got promoted at home or got to a final the home fans would get on the pitch. It's been spoiled in recent years by dickheads assaulting players like the forest fan who attacked Billy sharp last season after the play off semis and got jailed.
So if everybody who was there tomorrow decided to go on the pitch at the end of the match they would all be banned for years or for life. that would be a very interesting decision for a business/company to make ban all there customers. So the business would be no more and the investors would lose there investment. In a make belief world i would be interested in what they could actually do to fans in reality i presume ....... nothing
Dick heads are exactly that and deserve everything they get if they assault/ harm or even attempt to, I’m talking about purely going on the pitch with exuberance, let’s not make the point beyond just running on the pitch
in which case the absent parents should be telling them not to break the law. It beggars belief that you're blaming the club for encouraging an atmosphere on the basis that it will encourage criminal behaviour.
It does it says it's across the EFL/FA/Prem so it'll be interesting to see how many Luton and Wrexham ban.
Surprised they didn't add this from the safety officer If we have any incursions onto the pitch tomorrow, we will get fined due to already being warned about our future Supporters' conduct.
Not blaming the club, I’m simply saying they are contributing to the over-exuberance that will culminate with fans celebrating on the pitch at the end and therefore would be very harsh to prosecute and/or ban people. You can spin this how you want, I know my take on it. I’m sure many parent’s tell their kids not to break the law,and in the main needlessly.
Not shooting the messenger mate, I know the club are obliged to put these messages out, all I am pointing out is banning/ prosecuting for over-exuberance on such a big night is very harsh.
Unfortunately a pitch invasion is inevitable if we win tonight and I’m resigned to it. Not that it will bother those who do it but remember you’re spoiling the occasion for a lot of fans who won’t/ can’t go on the pitch and who want to share any celebrations there may be. I still resent those who have done it in the past who stopped my old dad and grandad who were lifelong Reds supporters from enjoying our previous successes. Again - we all know it will happen if we win but tell me our celebrations after the Wembley wins where no pitch invasions were possible - we’re your celebrations diminished in any way?
Just shows how unrepresentative of the general fanbase this board is. If we win tonight there'll be 5000+ so excited that they've got to run onto a bit of grass after being told for a week and every past year, not to. But no one on here will.
