Just 5 hours ago - Moore out, Chansiri out, players not fit to wear the shirt. Best supporters in the land though. Part of me actually wants us to lose tomorrow. Simply cannot face a week of Wednesday fans banging on about needing more tickets blah blah blah. Worst possible scenario for our household. Gutted. Peterborough bottlers.
I’m a little puzzled by the tone of the thread. I can think of a few teams that would give us a problem, but Real Wednesday are not one of them. Win tomorrow night and we’re promoted. Great news.
We just carry on as we are. We've had no fanfares this season, been under the radar. Let all the talk be about our opposition, I think it plays into out hands tbh
You have obviously forgotten the zillion games where we play Owls off the park and contrive to lose by *dodgy goal *98th min goal *goal scored by player who should have been sent off *goal scored after huge penalty claim by us *offside goal etc etc. I just can’t see us being blessed enough to beat them three times in a season. Anyway, tough game tomorrow.
Yes I remember them all but Barcawednesday are essentially a poor and ageing side with zero unity between the fans, players and Owners. If some of our fans can hold their nerve (assuming we do the business tomorrow) Wembley could give us one of the greatest experiences of our lives.
Or one of the worst. Losing a play off final is horrible. Losing to them would be horrific. Even the build up would be horrific.
Nothing more than awful tactics from posh set out by Fergie jnr. Not much to fear from that if we play our own game. Bolton are a tougher prospect IMO
See: tonight. Dodgy 8th minute pen, followed by 98th min winner after which the full time whistle was immediately blown, despite only six minutes being indicated.
The amount of time played was about right to be fair. The weirder part was the ref not letting Dee dars take a throw in from further back and instead actually telling them to get forward. Oh and then allowing Smith to scream **** off at him
Watch out for all the piggies with Elsecar, Hoyland and Hoyland Common addresses applying for tickets in the Reds end. If we get there. As they don’t have time to build an extension on to Wembley to accommodate all the lifelong and never fickle piggies fans, it’s probably best not to give us an allocation at all so they can have all 90,000. They’ll need to hold a ballot though and presumably put on live streams for the thousands of disappointed fans who lose out.
Just for info....Coventry allocation 36237, adult ticket prices in 5 different categories are £36/£52/£64/£76/£98.........just so we can get the "aarrrr much" thread started early.
The only thing i want if we win tonight is to sell out our wembley allocation or everyone knows what we will have to put up with, and really theres no reason why not in a game of that magnitude.
