I'm not that au fait with everything myself, but taking a look at this should give you an idea. Basically rich people having a free day out, paid for by other rich people. Presumably lots of corporate hob-nobbing. https://www.hospitalitycentre.co.uk/wembley-stadium-hospitality-packages-private-boxes/
Probably. The FA are already thinking about how to move us or Bolton to the roof and arch, in order to accommodate more Wednesday fans. Temporary stands in airships?
I think Moore deserves a lot of credit for tonight, especially after the week he's had. The manner in which he has handled himself and the way he instilled in the team, 4-nil down, a sense of belief that they can win is very, very commendable. As we saw this week, there is a very vocal minority of Wednesday 'fans' that don't deserve to have him as their manager. That said, we've beaten them twice already this year. We have to beat someone in the final, and I'd sooner it be them than Peterborough. As an aside, I thought it was important that the Sky interviews post-match didn't shy away from asking both Moore and the players they interviewed (I don't remember now who; Bannan and Hunt?) how they felt about the racist abuse leveled at Moore all week. It isn't their responsibility to cure the world of all its ills, but when something like that rears its vile head, it should be addressed, and it is all of our responsibility to point at it, highlight it, and explain why it isn't welcome.
Yep, I was exaggerating a bit I admit. I’d say more 20k to 45k. Getting hold of coaches will be the biggest problem that would prevent Barnsley fans getting there. All the ones from the Sheffield area would be taken up and they’ll have a 24 hour run on us to start with.
They will, you're right, but I'm pretty sure it'll be fine. If we win tonight, there may well be some coach companies from across the Pennines who'll be happy to assist us if there's any shortfall.
Club Wembley members don’t automatically get tickets for the play-off finals but are given the chance to buy them. You can buy one ticket for every CW seat you have although this year the Championship final is included because the Community Shield match which is usually part of the package wasn’t staged at Wembley. The CW membership gives you tickets for all the England men’s matches, League Cup final and FA cup semis and final but not (usually) the play-offs. If memory serves me well the CW tickets for the L1 final are about £80 just for the ticket, hospitality packages are usually £199 - £499 depending on the level of hospitality and boxes start from about £2,000 dependant on size and level of hospitality.
Isn't it a bit presumptuous talking about Wednesday in the Final and Wembley allocations before we've kicked a ball?
I heard the same. Highways Agency are also making three lane 'Express Traffic Owlways' on the M1 for the weekend to avoid 15 week tailbacks. Automatic fines unless there's a Tesco bag flying out the window. We'll have to use the hard shoulder if we get there.
No club can have more than 37k apparently so no, they won’t. If pricing is same as Championship though we’ll struggle to shift 20k. Cheapest adult ticket is £36 and dearest £98!
Not in current economic climate we won’t. In 2016 we only took just over 20k for both games. Do well to repeat that I reckon. Let’s get there first though!
Cos my mind works on the basis that we will lose - again its just an opinion doesnt mean im right nor does it mean i want us to lose tonight just i wont be heartbroken should that happen - law of averages is that even if we get past Bolton - Sheff Weds are due a result against us and coming off the back of last night they are going to take "massive" confidence into it now too.
