It felt comfortable to me on the whole. Sort of how I wanted it to go. The dee dars had to run their blood to water, we did the necessary job. Would sooner be in our position tbh.
Two brilliant, brilliant performances- each and every one of them. You reds ! refs were good in both games too I thought
Not surprisingly, neutral fans are comparing this game to last nights game. And their thinking is that the Fowls could batter us, on that showing. Well, just remember how much better we were and how much worse they were, in both of the 1st legs.
10 mins from time I got a high heart rate warning on my Apple Watch over 120 whilst I appeared to be inactive. Not that I was stressed or owt.
Imho (and at the risk of repeating myself from the first leg) the performance was professional and energetic. Duff has played a blinder over the two games and again Bolton who like to tell everyone what a possession based side they, struggled with our press. In reality the trotters hardly troubled our keeper again. Evatt can say what he likes but we were better over the two games and our coach should take that as a big compliment. Well done reds, we went out there and took care of business.
If Carlsberg did comfortable 1-0 wins, that would be it. Now we're apparently going to Wembley just to make the numbers up according to some. Well done all at BFC. You've done us proud.
Usual fayre. Teams who lose will always say ‘we weren’t at our best’. Teams who win will always say ‘yeah, because we didn’t allow you to play your game’. Isted’s only save last night was the backpass from Mads.
Harry forgot the rule book, for a silly second. I can’t see his teammates ‘letting that go’, anytime soon..?
I’m pretty sure everyone in the dressing room will ask him “what the fk were you thinking”? Mebbi the odd FA rule book popped in his locker for bantz
Fair reflection of the game here. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?st...iN5oYj9Q2zyajKKtboZJhuCCKnBLl&id=127256559100
