Bolton and Barnsley fans outside Old Bank, started with singing, currently bottles, flares and everything else they can get their hands on flying. Police showing no intent on moving Bolton fans on to try and calm it down
Glad majority of time I'm straight there straight back. Deleted social media too so I don't get annoyed at fans also.
I hope nobody sticks a live flare up his own ar*se (like that England fan did lol), its always asking for trouble when you do that.
If you read the Bolton Message boards we were warned some of them (probably ones without tickets) were only ciming for the ruck .
Who’s bright idea was it to queue the Bolton coaches around the back of the East stand full of Bolton fans allowing them to be goaded, then even a brighter idea was letting the bolton fans off the coach’s to start brawling
It nearly kicked of outside ponty end gates after the game ...Bolton fan mid 30s giving it large and looking to pick a fight with bsly fans...that was until another Bolton fan possibly in his 40s just walked up to him and exchanged a few words Bloke told him he was acting like a Di*k head lol and to not only shut up but grow up too , otherwise there would be trouble.... Realising very quickly he was not getting anywhere , with his voice of reasoning, the bloke took the matters into his own hands and grabbed him.....trying to pull him away The bloke making his mouth, then tried to break lose and continue with his aggressive stance...but the bloke in his 40s wasn't having any off it and just cracked him, then said you might think twice now.... told him to grow up before dragging him away by the scruff of the neck repeating grow up you Di*k
I was in the White Bear and could see it from the window. There didn't appear to be much to it, and I thought the Police handled it really well. Essentially segregated them, and then moved the Bolton fans up the road.
Thats impressive that the police popped by to drop off the crime reference number. Normally they do it by phone.
