Train tickets looking about £120 ,,wondering which pubs will be running buses (especially ones outside of town) . You reds
We'll be in our little old motorhome somewhere near Watford probably. Make a weekend of it in that London....
Train from Wakey for me. I travel to London for work often and find its always the easiest and quickest way to get to London.
Booked my train tickets a few weeks ago , £40 open return for 2. Glad I did now, was fearing I would have to sell them to my Wednesday supporting mate. Going from Donny, train should be interesting..
**** knows. I'm on about parking out of London then getting a quick train their. It's gonna be a nightmare having 33 barnsley fans and 33 million sheff wednesday fans in london
I'm catching the train from Sheffield. Due to the number of Wednesday fans, the train is really, really long. In fact, it's so long that if you get on at this end and walk the length of the train, you can get off at Wembley. Only takes 3 or 4 days.
4 of us in the car, driving down. No way do I want to share a train with the Wednesday fans on the journey home if we have lost. Sounds like a nightmare. Just used yourparkingspace.co.uk to book to leave my car on someone's drive, 2 mins from Stanmore tube station. They even have an EV charger, so I won't need to stop on the way home. Sorted
Booked Premier Inn at Hemel Hempstead about 3 weeks ago. About half hour on train/overground from there and usually easier to get out of Wembley station after match as heading North.
Currently looking at £130 first class Donny to King's Cross. Standard is about £105. Not sure how much the club coaches will be, 40, 50? Might go for the upgrade just to avoid the chaos.
Managed to blag a lift with a mate who drives cattle trucks. Big upturn in business that day apparently.
National Express - setting off at 3 in the morning! Back to Manchester and then Manchester to Liverpool
