Genuine question about Michael Duff

    Why are people questioning if he will be with us next season? He has made no indication he will not be and throughout his career he has been a loyal person to his clubs. I know he is away from home and I think ultimately he could well be a premiership manager but until I read it here,I had no thoughts he would be our manager next year.

    Because he’s a brilliant manager, and if we don’t get promoted, Championship clubs will be all over him. I don’t personally think he’ll be here next season if we miss out at Wembley. But who knows.

    When does a manager under contract ever give the impression he won’t be at his club next season? I’m sure he didn’t at Cheltenham.

    End of the day he’s the same as a player, if an offer big enough comes in he’ll be off. I just hope he keeps doing a terrific job in the mean time

    We all know he's slated for the Burnley when it eventually becomes vacant. In the mean time let's all agree to enjoy the moment whilst it lasts.
    Hopefully for a long time but it's football and we all know what happens.
    When we get promoted give him a new contract with a bigger release fee, at least we might as well get some benefit.
