Friday night was the last home match of my 50th season commentating on the Reds, what a great night to mark those fifty seasons. I've covered them in all four divisions, seen five promotions, four relegations and a few trips to Wembley with another next week. Looking forward to season 51, hopefully in the Championship after a massive Wembley victory.

Nice one, however we've been promoted 6 times in the 45 years that I've been supporting the Reds....:) (with 5 relegations)

When you get to my age, you tend to get a little forgetful...!

Sorry, Hospital and Hospice patients only. At least we've cheered them up a bit this season!

Great stuff. Wish I’d known when I was laid up. First at Barnsley Gen, then the stroke rehab at Kendray. November to near Christmas 2015. we were rock bottom & the recovery happened in tandem with my own, to the point that we both made it twice to Wembley a few months later.
Adam Hammill had returned & I was dropping hints that a visit to my rehab, would do me the world of good. That didn’t happen, but Matt Bailey’s commentaries kept me in touch & the turn in form definitely helped me. If I’d known about your show, I would haves definitely tuned in. Great work, mate.. :)
