Common sense prevails. The games played in 6 days time if you want a ticket there's no stopping you now.

It's only Tuesday buses are still taking bookings and Train tickets are available. Plus it's just one straight easy road to drive.. The obstacles are only in people's heads.

I helped somebody out yesterday but their group are going to have to sit 3 and 2.
But today they would have been able to book a row of five.

Not the clubs fault, but the holding statement would have alleviated some pressure - on both sides.

It's possible, but I'd feel responsible for trying to shift it now. Plus, he's sat with his mates. I don't want to take that away from him. He will really enjoy it. Rather than be sat with his aging dad lol

I have got the other side of it, many folk (including people not fit to travel) also holding off on their plans on the chance they could frequent my bar to watch. So I had pressure from both sides to think about.

I had to make a decision, and ultimately decided to get my eldest with his mates. I've lost so much time sorting out where I've got to, I haven't the energy to start making more plans and altering them.

It's unfortunate yes, but I'm comfortable where I have got to. It does mean I'm potentially missing a great day. So be it.

I'm not throwing teddy out so to speak. Just the reality of circumstances faced and time available.

Happy for those who are now able to take time and get themselves sat together

Holding statement could have only said the club were in discussions. That might have led to no change at all.

From what I know this was no easy feat given the high level risk category this game is classed at.

    @Loko the Tyke

Any word why the blocks on Tier 2 are being sold one by one? Seems a farcical tbh

ST holders had an advantage and chose not to use it. Unfair to blame the club for that.

Agree. Seen a 2/3 released already but I think this is another one where the club are relying on external stakeholders to change process.

Yeah I get the issue with the external stakeholder. Not blaming the club but surely a simple communication piece in line with the upping the limit for general sale would suffice.

"Can you open up more Tier 2 blocks as we have lots of fans wanting them"

They didn’t really. At the mercy of the blocks being available being palatable to what they wanted. Just like the people on general sale are finding today.

They did though, it’s just that it wasn’t what they wanted.

Agreed. Season Ticket holders had a chance to get tickets first which is how it should be And up to 5 more for family and friends They shouldn't necessarily also have the advantage of all the best seats imo.

I'm not saying there's going to be no availability, but obviously less than there was this time yesterday. I've had drama with busses, and I was able to get all the tickets I needed by 9:05am yesterday.

Ah okay, I must have imaged all the drama I had over the weekend trying to sort out a bus. Glad you're here doctor.

I was thinking more that episode of Only fools and horses where they rent a bus to do tours, and nobody turns up because grandad has binned the leaflets to win a bet.
