They've been given an extra 1355 seats. Don't know if they've been taken out of our allocation or if there was neutral seats the EFL were selling https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...-final-against-barnsley-fc-at-wembley-4155999
Out of interest is there a limit when being a neutral venue goes out the window? Say if Wednesday we're playing Fleetwood or Accrington? Or if Div 2 final had been Bradford v Salford? Clearly you start by going 50:50 but where would they draw the line? In those examples would be a huge difference anyway (37k v 7/8k) where would EFL draw the line to avoid a phenomonal difference - 45k? 50k? 60k? Sure i read somewhere the EFL Trophy final that never happened due to Covid was Pompey v Salford and Pompey had set a record for individual club wembley tickets sold?
Not a pop at you, my friend, just a bit tired of all the 'extra tickets for the Fritzls' gubbins. They've got more fans than us, that's it. Not sure why it seems to cause so many of them a problem.
They did same for Sunderland last year - it’ll be restricted view at the front. Do think Weds will get another 5k though - it’ll be top tier at the South side.
Think they held a block back for staff and families etc obviously now confirmed how many they need and now selling them to public
Fair dos, and agree. To be honest, if they'd been given them an extra set of blocks, either side of the pitch, I don't think there would've been many complaints.
If the Club are at all involved in whether to release further tickets for the Massives, they should just say NO. There is little benefit to us.
Nothing to do with us, unless BFC had actually bought our full allocation upfront. If our sales have all but finished and there are unused blocks, it's down to the EFL, Wembley and most importantly the police to determine whether Wendy get any more. Given the Met's recent track record, they'll probably just announce it's unreserved seating. Wembley are still clawing back their outlay, so won't hesitate to release tickets to the Fritzls if the demand is there.
