With ticket sales seemingly slowing, it appears we might be nearing the limit of support for Monday. Of those not going / not able to go, I wonder what the reasons are and whether supporters 'lost' during the Conway / Lee period haven't returned? I also wonder whether there are some who would like to but don't have an account and whether others on here might be able to help? I would be willing to if anyone wishes to DM.....
Not going - partly pre-booked something else and partly got out of the habit of going. I do have something else, have an outing planned with the wife, but it could have been moved to a different day if i was that bothered about going.
Health issues and the unacceptable price of train fares at short notice has made it a non starter for me. So an afternoon in the pub cheering on the Reds it will be.
I'm only going because I got Tuesday off work. Still haven't worked out how I'm getting back to Pontefract. However, it's light early mornings and there might be a comfortable bench somewhere. Who knows I might get lucky with a like minded red who likes bald fat blokes lol.
Thank you pal. I had a pacemaker fitted last year and covid left me with anxiety. It’s getting better but I don’t feel I’m quite there yet. I believe paying those train prices might have set me back.
Same here. I don’t even get to Oakwell, except the rare occasion I can get a lift more or less door to door. The thought of trying to get out of Wentworth for a 7/8am start was an instant fck that, for me. Couple that with leaving my dog alone all day & it’s easy to see a football match just isn’t worth that amount of aggro. I’m am thinking of buying a new telly though for the occasion. A smart one too..
Being a bank holiday though, means we have a Sunday bus service, which is bizarrely a massive improvement on weekdays. Being a peasant wagon, bus ******, it does mean I could possibly get to a pub & get the last one home at 7pm.
Out of the habit. Had a season ticket every since Premier league season until this one. Haven't been all season though have watched many games online. Will be watching from Skeggy at the Van.
Sorry to read about those with health issues that prevent them from going. I missed out last time because my son wasn't interested so I'm going to cherish this time with him come what may!
Not the most empathetic list of poll options I’ve ever seen. The final ‘summat fcking else’ box, wouldn’t wash at Forest Green..
Sorry to hear that. I'm on Ramipril for high blood pressure. Was put on them after I went to see a cardiologist in 2018. Luckily I didn't have a heart attack. Get well soon.
