...I am not going anywhere near the internet until the match is well and truly over, including any potential extra time and or penalties. This is not because I don't care but because I am, frankly, bricking it. The fact I cannot watch it here makes it 1oo times worse trying to balance the- understandably- hyper optimistic/pessimistic BB posters' comments on how we are playing and the intermittent BBC 'live' text feed. That means, given we are one hour ahead of UK time, I will be miserable or celebrating no earlier than 7pm here! Going for a meal with a large group of people to a local popular restaurant where the owners are retiring after 40 years. If we win my old signed ORA premier shirt may be making an appearance which will raise a few comments from the Italian contingent
I'll be sitting in an airplane over the Atlantic ocean for the next ten hours or so, so I'm going to miss the match too... I'm tempted to pay for the on-board wifi, perhaps I could then find some dodgy stream where I could watch the game, but I never get those to work on my phone. In any case, come on you Reds!
I know exactly what you mean. I've ensured I'm in the house on my own. The family believe I'm spending the time hiding under the dining room table. Quite why I feel this way, after 57 years of supporting the club, I can't work out. Most of the family are at Wembley and I'm there in spirit. But I simply can't watch or listen.
I deleted twitter and Facebook a few year ago. Mental health couldn't be any better mate. I just use this forum. That way then I can show my emotions with just reds fans
Well I for one will be glad when it's all over. Been doing my head in all week. Nerves shot to pieces, not knowing which way to turn. Tbh I'm a mess!
I've become the same as I get older. If I can't be at the game (and I don't go away) or see it live on tv I make every effort to blank the game out of my mind until I'm certain it's finished,
