If we lost fair and square I think I would be sad but my anger now is already starting to mellow as km so proud of them. I know theirs nothing nobody could do with them decisions. The world saw it and theirs gonna be questions asked. It's up to us to call out the corruption today that's the only thing that is annoying me
Not a bad word for any, everyone did us proud, matched them on n off the pitch, despite being heavily outnumbered in both
Absolutely proud. My gut reaction when that goal went in was to leave. But those players deserved so much more.
I'm gutted that there's a decent chance we won't see how this group could have progressed under Duff. Even if he stays we'll lose a few now unfortunately and that's such a massive shame
I think we are a lot a bit of a crossroads and we need to make sure it doesn’t unravel we have struck gold with Duff and must move heaven and earth to keep him he totally out thought Moore today
If ever there was a heroic defeat that was it. If I was a Wednesday fan I'd be f****ing sheepish about winning that. No problems with their attitude it was a well fought out game but they were outplayed by ten men in the second half and had the referee to thank for their man advantage and opportunity to put us on the back foot in extra time. Brilliant effort by our lads today. Isted, Connell, Norwood, Mads etc. A truly memorable effort.
So true. Very proud, we would have won that game with 11 players either in 90 minutes or definitely in 120. If we were going to lose at least we absolutely went down fighting
Just hope we don't sell in the summer, and then go for automatic promotion next season. Nothing less.
Like all of us, so proud of our boys today. battled and fought like their lives depended on it. I'm v proud to be a Barnsley fan after watching that performance. hope to god MD stays. we're connected again with our club. if we can retain this group we can move mountains. ps a Wednesday fan just came up to us in the services and said the best team lost today. they're clearly not all deluded.
We're going to have to sell. We're still in a big financial mess due to the mismanagement of Paul Conway and Chien Lee. If we'd gone back up at the first time of asking the we'd have been in a better position to retain players and add some more quality. I'm sure others will give the specifics but I assume it will be a combination of player sales and increased capital from the board to keep the club going. The most important aspect is keeping Duff and his coaching team. Sad to say (and I really hope they don't) but I think Andersen and Jordan Williams will move on, possibly 1 or 2 others.
Yep, it’s the first time I’ve seen us lose at Wembley and not marched straight out on the full-time whistle. They deserved their ovation. Devastated for them, because they didn’t deserve it, but they’re (mainly) young and will bounce back. After the first half we outplayed them, outsang them, certainly didn’t deserve to lose and left the moral victors. Everything I’m reading online is positive towards our team and our fans. If we have a good summer we have a golden opportunity for our first league title since 1955
There has to be a way of getting the EFL to respond, they must have seen the injustice and what a joke it makes them look like but they are so far up their own backsides they see only what they want to see and thats usually £££
Not a cat in hell's chance. They've had the most dramatic play off final and seen a Club with more than double attendance promoted. Job done. Just need to suck it up now. Put it all behind you and focus on next season.
