    Not reight good today. Trying to beat players with his clumsy feet. Constantly giving ball away. Did it with not long left too when should have passed.

    shame benson went off, but must be quite bad as on crutches and a boot on

    If Benson played until the end we'd have at least got to penalties, time and time again Russell has been remarkably lightweight for a man his size and very clumsy with the ball.

    Don’t think he was that bad today. Yes did a failed flip flap on the edge of the area and they broke on us, but didn’t see him give it away too often otherwise.

    Benson is one of those players who picks up one injury after another. He’s made of glass that lad. Shame his contract isn’t up as we’re just carrying him constantly. Not his fault I know but we can’t afford luxuries like him.

    I agree he's been disappointing but think there's more to come from him. And Michael Duff is the man to get it. Let's see how he is after a full pre-season.

    I'd rather have Cotter on the bench. Looks like he could do a job in a couple of positions. Russell just reminds me of Carlton Palmer.

    Will reserve judgement on him until after he’s had a pre season, and is given a settled role.
    Think he can be a good player for us.

    I'm hoping that he comes back looking like a different player after pre-season, but he looks like somebody trying to play football in oversized clown shoes.

    I'm not writing him off though, as it was only a year ago he was supposed to be one of the best midfielders in the Championship. It's a bit odd that he's gone from that to playing in the division below, yet looking like a bloke they found wandering round the streets in the small hours of Sunday morning.

    I said a few weeks ago that I think he’ll be good next season after a pre-season with us. Let’s hope so because he’s not shown a great deal so far.
