https://www.barnsleychronicle.com/a...c-wants-city-future-after-barnsley-fc-victory I know you've got to have confidence in your own ability, but if he thinks he's going to break into Man City's first team he's about to be a little disappointed, but good luck to him.
for his own development.... he needs to be told that play-acting and stopping a game is a negative thing... even for a senior player.
Aye and to be fair to the lad, when asked hes not going to say he doesn't want to play at the top level haha. Divided opinion a bit on here, but quite liked him personally. Looked great in patches and then really raw in others, but that should come with age and experience. Hope he gets a consistent run of games wherever he plays and goes on to have a cracking career for himself
Will never play for City. Don’t think he’s even good enough for the championship at the moment. Looked nothing special at league one level in a decent team.
Nowhere near Championship level for me. He might get there, but as of today, he’s an average Division 3 striker at best. Starting ahead of Nors has been one of the few decision’s that I think Duff’s got wrong.
I dont see him in the prem - he is 23 and he is just too easily outmuscled. I know he was injured and I wouldn't be unhappy to have him back next season but equally I think we could do better. Currently I think L1 is his level -Hard to see him ever playing above championship level, but I would be happy to be proved wrong.
If you're bringing in a loan striker from a Premier League club, you would want him to be your top scorer (although I appreciate this deal was slightly different as suspect it's not cost us anything). He scored a few decent headers, but his control of the ball on the floor was poor. Poor touch cost us a chance in the first half on Monday, and also in the first leg of the semi, shortly after it went 1-1. I think I'd rather give Jalo more chances next season, than bring him back.
I honestly don't know what some people saw in him. I love a cult hero normally, but I just thought he was a bit headless chicken. Good luck to the lad, can't knock his confidence.
Got to agree with you, scored a few decent headers but for a big lad he wasn't that strong, poor touch with ball at his feet and went missing far too often in games. I think it was the fact we loaned him from city that people got abit excited about. I suspect he will go back to city's 23s and then get loaned out again next season.
I think you’ve just devised the perfect method of explaining to the uninitiated just how far a billion light years actually is!
Maybe, but can't really cater for a soft red card when making your plans. 11 men on the pitch and he runs them ragged second half and we win.
I imagine duffs game plan was to bring norwoods energy on later on with Wednesdays ageing legs also I think Norwood a better penalty taker than tedic. Sadly the red card killed any game plan.
I don't really know. But he appears to be. Songs about him. People taking Serbia flags to games. Think it's probably a twitter thing.
Didn't particularly rate him personally. Oli Shaw's career stats suggest that he'll be at least as effective at this level. Hopefully he'll be in the frame after a full pre-season.
There’s a player in there but he won’t play for Man City that’s ludicrous would take him for a modest fee
