    One that sticks in my mind is the build up to the Ipswich final at the old wembley when they played safri duo and all the flags were waving etc.

    I always said id never go to wembley to watch a game of football unless it was barnsley playing - and was one of the last competitive games played there before it was pulled down - think england played germany the October after. Then we also got to go to the millennium stadium and were one of the first to play at the new Wembley in the fa cup semi followed by another 2 visits in 2016 and again in 2023. Maybe that's why we only took 23K - folk are a bit bored of it now and it doesn't have the same pull! :D I think we should use big grounds closer to both clubs for playoffs and keep wembley special for the fa cup etc. Put some shine back on it.
