    I wouldn't be against us giving him another go. Duff didn't seem too keen on him last season though, considering Andersen, Kitching, McCarthy, Cundy and Edwards were all played ahead of him. Thomas was then brought in as Moon was sent out on loan. If a reasonable offer came in for him though, I can see us moving him on to make space in the side for someone to come in.

    I can't see a championship club coming in for him, no interest prior to this season from anyone and he's not played well recently. You never know though, look where some of our former players are especially the Luton ones.

    Irreplaceable, no. Difficult to replace, yes. For me, the hardest player in the squad to replace. It's been years since we had a holding midfielder as effective in my opinion. In fact central midfield in particular has been arguably our weakest recruitment area for the past few seasons, prior to last season.

    Connell would be a huge loss and incredibly difficult to replace. I wouldn’t be accepting anything less than £5m

    We don't need to sell Connell this summer I reckon. The Board have shown a willingness to be flexible with sales and I think they'll realise that what we can get for him now will be less than next summer with hopefully another good campaign and a year's further development under his belt.

    If we can keep everyone else and that includes Mads I would be over the moon.

    If we could get Isted and B Thomas back permanently that would be a real bonus.

    With Duff behind him Moon could well develop into the next Mads, who himself was given dogs abuse in his early days.

    I would make Connell captain and persuade him to stay and lead us back to the championship next season. That's assuming Mads leaves.

    I don’t think Connell will need persuading to stay. Two years left on his contract, out of his hands really. We shouldn’t be entertaining anything less than 5m.

    He's played less than half a season at burton. Yeah he's had some good reviews but a back 3 of moon kitch and cundy wouldn't fill me with much optimism.

    You're right. I thought he'd played more games than that. I would expect us to bring in a cheaper but viable replacement for Andersen alongside Kitching plus one of Moon or Cundy if they're up to it.
