Eh? How are you meant to jump with your arms down by your side?

So that's a yellow when he never touched him and Casimero's wasn't? Refs losing this.

If there was no VAR in this game the ref would have not done owt with Casimiro's attempted leg break, or Fred's "foul" on De Bruyne, or Grealish's handball.

So VAR is no worse than the ref. In fact the ref leads the way and often ties the hands of VAR making the final decision - perhaps that's what's wrong.

Ref's now just booked someone for nowt at all - he's not having a good day.

    Pathetic yellow card
    Not a penalty
City should have had a penalty

Standard of refereeing and VAR - shocking

VAR and bad officials will stop more people going to matches than fan violence shortage of money or anything else

I think it's probably a penalty according to this week's interpretation of the rules. No room for common sense to be applied.

That still doesn't explain why ours was never ever watched by the ref.

Quite easily. It's not Mensa. The rules are clear that if it hits your hand and it's not by your side than it's handball. The rule might not seem fair, but by the letter of the law the correct decision was eventually reached.

Then the United team felt would be wise to incite the City fans in their celebration. I dunno why refs all over the country don't book players who give it the big un from the safety of the pitch, in front of opposition fans.

Grealish's hand goes up as he is coming down from jumping.

Players don’t hurt people by doing it, kn0bheads chucking stuff do. Only one wrong in that episode and it wasn’t the players.

Might not be Mensa but nobody in the world jumps with their arms by their side. They just don’t. If, by the law, that is a penalty then the rules need reverting back asap. If he’d have done a Suarez or Steven Taylor and saved it like a keeper then yeah but he didn’t at all. Shocking and it’s got Man U back in the game when they should never have been.

May have been inciting fans but fans should also still not throw anything. Common sense. Although common sense seems to be lacking these days. Whether that’s fans, refs or the laws of the game.

People generally put their arms out when landing. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a player jump with their arms down by their side.

Often overused phrase in modern football... But he's one of the few who deserve it.

Ours wasn't watched by the ref because he would have had to give a penalty and that wouldn't fit the EFL narative.
