kidsuper is a big deal in the fashion world for those ITK. but that's not really Barnsley, is it? commercially though, it's a pretty major coup if he has been involved in the shirt.

If it ends up being a fashion type shirt. And we put it on the open market instead of the Club shop only. Then maybe we'll bring in more revenue hopefully.

I wonder how many shirts we usually sell?
I wonder if there is a limited run third shirt or something they could become collectors items.
Vast market to be tapped. Look at designer trainers.

He's a designer for Louis Vuitton too.
Not sure we'll shift many at that price.

I agree with this. We could Have a fairly standard home and away shirt, then have a slightly mental 3rd shirt that could blow up and maybe appeal to people who aren’t necessarily Tarn fans.

    That's a generous discount. Nearly $100 off a plain red t-shirt. Where's my wallet?

The designs on the KidSuper website are not really my cup of tea (I suspect I am not their demographic) but they are exactly what I would expect and want from a high fashion designer. At least they have used their imagination.

If I was a big cheese at Ralph Lauren and my designers showed me what they had come up with and it was 'plain shirt with a small polo player embroidered on the chest' I'd be sacking them on the spot. Yet these 'designers' continually pump out that dull nonsense.

And yes, I can buy a plain red t-shirt from Target or K-mart.

My missus could rattle one of them off using good quality cotton fabric for £10 - £15. Who in their right mind would pay 395 dollars let alone 495 dollars for a plain shapeless T-shirt?

She is a keen dressmaker 'sewist' and has 3 different types of machines... (wibble) - a 'cover stitch', 'overlocker' and a standard one and I have no idea what they all do (nor do I want to). She insists they are all needed to do certain things to make stuff to a professional standard even though , for her, it is just a hobby. Can't complain as my studio, PA and instruments cost thousands and are also now just a hobby.

No wonder 'Primani' does so well with the younger end. Cheap and not fantastically well made but with the trend of constantly changing 'seasons' in fashion they wear it a few times whilst it looks good, then throw away and replace it. Lets face it, you can buy a dozen or more decent T shirts /sweatshirts in somewhere like TK Maxx for the price of that red T-Shirt and twice that number in Primark. Madness!!

Some of the Tshirts, hoodies and Jackets are quite cool but then again I'm 23. He did his version of NBA jerseys, again some were pretty decent but then again some were gash. I doubt he's gonna be adding painted faces and graffiti to our home shirts, he'll just be there to look at whats trending and inspiration from our club we can use

Did YorkyTyke predict the new kit correctly? I haven't read it anywhere...
