    Who's everyone supporting tonight?

Love John Stones and have quite a few mates who support City and suffered years of terrible football.

    VS

Hate City and everything they now stand for, and have quite a few mates who support City now, but never set foot inside Maine Road apart from for an Oasis concert.

    Hmmmm o_O

    Similar quandary.
Want Man City to win as are English etc BUT don’t want them to win as the English media are acting as if it’s a formality and just have to turn up.

City :) English club who play beautiful football, led by in my opinion a humble guy who for some reason gets chastised for his success.

As for the City vs Utd debate.. Utd also bought success back in the day, they had Fergie time, they had very dubious decisions go their way (Andy Liddell anyone?), and in the 90s they were the most plastic club in English football, even their captain called it out with the prawn sandwich comments. It's ironic that their glory fans who have now grown older and have experienced underachievement for years are now rewriting history, making out the United story was some kind of underdog success in the 90s :D Take nothing away from United and their youngsters coming through, but they definitely had advantages over other clubs back in the day that is now being glossed over because they're now a bit rubbish. Come on City :) Also, since when did Gary Neville become the most talented right back since time began all of a sudden? People saying Mahrez wouldn't get the better of him..

A club owned by an Abu Dhabi businessman versus a club owned by a Chinese holding company.

If you're judging it on "hate them for everything they stand for" then I don't think watching the Champions League Final is for you.

I do agree with the sentiment but I'll put that to one side and watch it soley as a game of football.

Man City play in England and play football that is more attractive to me therefore I'll be supporing them tonight.

Correct. I've had very little interest in this competition since it ceased to be a knockout cup featuring the actual champions of each country.

Yep it’s amazing how many fans of the big clubs have suddenly supposedly found the moral high ground having been fixing up football with cash for more than a hundred years.

City’s style of football is brutally effective, but I can’t stand watching it. Most of the game is played at a snail’s pace until they smell an opening

City. Would love to see a Barnsley lad who I've actually seen play for Barnsley get his hands on the trophy. They're my sons second team as well so he would be a happy lad.

Easy City. Stones. They are English. They are not Italian.

Their fans aren't glory supporters either. They sold out Maine Road in division 3.

Whatever your views are on the rights or wrongs with football this is a chance for a proud Barnsley lad to win a European trophy.

    City all day long

City all day. John Stones. Arguably the best manager in history. A proper football club who lived in the shadow of their city rivals for decades. Possibly the best football team ever.

    No brainer.

Only time l would not support the English team is when it's Sheffield Wednesday and anyone playing AC Milan.
