    He's only 22, made around 50 first team appearances in his career when joining us, and was in the middle of a season similar to what we suffered under Schopp and Asbaghi when he joined. Our midfield three was settled, and he struggled for minutes. I think the issue was more lack of confidence and know how of how to play the position in Duff's tactics. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, and see how he does next season.

    In that he saved us the potential misery of struggling all next year in the Championship whereas next year we will be bossing League One and really enjoy the joy of winning matches for most of the next season rather than losing virtually every match.

    Maybe try him as a central defender in the pre season friendlies to improve his defensive abilities.

    I hope he doesn’t make the Jamaica squad from a selfish point of view as I think the best thing for him is a full pre-season with his Barnsley team mates & not turning up a month after everyone else due to international commitments

    Can't make it worse. They persuaded a lot of English based players to play for them that wouldn't get near the England squad, and still couldn't get close to the last World Cup.
