    I found Davey the most Stand offish manager of all those I ever dropped on. I felt like a piece of **** on the end of his booit.

    Wasn't arsenal supposed to have been interested in him, may have just been gossip but he was a fantastic find, there was a vidio circulating where he took out a opposition player with his knee if I remember correctly.

    Wasn’t he the back up choice for Bayern Munich had their bid for Neuer fell through? Or have I just made that up? Seem to remember something big lined up for him.

    For me, no doubt the best goalkeeper I’ve seen at Barnsley. And my personal favourite, loved him here. That penalty save and celebration against Preston will always be in my memory.

    I remember him sending Ryan Kid over to (I think) me and Loko as we stood at the bar after one of the player of year dinners that used to happen at Brooklands. He quite aggressively had a go at us for stuff that other people had posted on here and tried to justify some of their decisions. It was quite bizarre. Seem to think turning JCR into an ineffective left back was one such talking point.
