Anyone seen the footage of Jack Grealish leading the singing mocking Liverpool? At least I think it's Liverpool as the song doesn't work if it's aimed at Manchester United.

Classless and unnecessary. Enjoy your victory but why mock a rival and use bad language when it's very likely to be filmed. I can't imagine Pep is impressed. Or his Mum and Dad to be honest.

Edit: It's here if you want to see it:

I think it’s aimed at Man Utd fans who have been singing to City for years. Now they can’t sing it anymore.

I like to see him enjoy himself, nice to see characters in the game again. He’s proved all his doubters wrong in a short space of time, he’s going to enjoy it.

The stick he’s had from other clubs fans since joining city has been relentless. If I’m honest, I’ll be giving it back a lot more than he has.

I imagine it's two fold, man United sung this about Man City for years so now they're repeating it back in light of them winning the treble.
The second point is how have you got from this even without the above information that they're targeting Liverpool? There's only two clubs who have won this particular treble and a third team (Liverpool) has won a treble albeit lesser competitions.

He's clearly sozzled and having a laugh with his fans and team mates, I imagine his parents are exceptionally proud of him and I also imagine Guardiola is too as he will be with his other players.

Seems a really genuine lad. Bit of partying and over exuberance sure we aren’t too snowflake to handle that.

I think that's aimed at any of the other 90 league clubs isn't it? I wouldn't be taking offence if I was a Liverpool fan.

Isn't that John in the background!? I'm taking it more as being one of the very few to do so, he's not aiming it "at" anyone like Bannan did. It was 5am, he was pissed, personally I'll cut him some slack on this one!

As to his Dad, he was as pissed as he was!

Nothing in this in my opinion. Doesn’t seem to be aimed at anyone in particular (as far as I can tell) and who cares anyway?

I like him. Seems a genuine person rather than a robot giving the stereotypical answers in every interview.

Can’t be aimed at Man Utd being as they won the treble when it was a slightly more level playing field.

Not really, they too spent shedloads and hoovered up all the local talent for their academy!

Come on, it was never a level playing field.

The numbers might have got bigger - but they (United) even with all the players they essentially got for free were spending as much as anyone else, except Real maybe, on transfer fees; and certainly big wages, bigger by far than anyone else in England. Saying City bought their success and United didn’t is just clearly wrong.

As for the song, it’s a response to Man Utd fans using their achievement from 24 years ago to belittle city: they can’t do that anymore.

Grealish came across after the game as a very genuine and emotional guy, my opinion of him grew a lot to be honest. Same with Kyle Walker, his words resonated as well.

Stonesy also spoke well but to be honest he oozes class in whatever he does (and I’ve even heard there’s a very different version of how events unfolded with him splitting up with his ex as well).

They might be very rich and over privileged; they might be funded by an Arab state with a very questionable record on many things including human rights, but it doesn’t mean they can’t be applauded for their achievements and we can’t be pleased for them as people. I support nobody but Barnsley - and certainly neither Manchester club - but I was pleased for United in 99 and I feel the same now for city.

Aye, can't imagine his mam and dad will be proud of him as one of only about 10 English blokes in history to win the Treble, his England caps etc.

Seems a genuine nice lad, what he did for that disabled kid with his goal celebration, etc, was class. Thick as mince like, but nice with it.

Haha - it appears I'm in the minority on this! Perhaps my views are old fashioned but I don't recall the footballers I recall as greats: Bobby Moore, Charlton, Beckenbauer, Pele, Cruyf, Eusebio, Gullit, Van Basten, Keegan, Best, Klinnsman, Neeskens, Maldini, Zoff, Baresi, Banks etc swearing and insulting other clubs. I accept some of them were flawed genuises (George Best the best example from that list with all sorts of personal issues) but for the majority of them had an aura about them on and off the pitch. They commanded respect because of their performances on the pitch and because of how they represented their club, their country and conducted themselves off it. I accept completely that social media nowadays means that any lapse is filmed but even allowing for that I think it unlikely these players (and many, many others) did it.

    I accept it's a different age. And I'm getting old. :)

PS I don't remember them being fouled (or just falling over) as often as Grealish either!

I'm sure they will have done, they just wouldn't have been recorded doing so.

    Give the lad a break.
I saw what he did for the young lad.
    Pretty good eh.
Watched his interview after the game was emotional.
Singing a song mocking other teams is little to the stick he as received.
He as done well and deserves the chance to get drunk, remember Flintoft and Co after winning the ashes.
    It's harmless.

Competition in Europe was harder for Utd, but I’d say PL now is harder for City.

We talk as though city didnt absolutely trounce 2 of the best teams in the world in real Madrid (who basically have made this competition their own in recent years) and Bayern Munich. RB Leipzig who they battered 7 nil would also challenge top 4 in the premier league.
