Horrible, nasty disease dementia. Hope his family take comfort in that he’ll now be at peace as I don’t think the last few years will have been great for him or any of them.
A giant of a man and a good defender. He was at Oakwell watching a reserve match many years ago my son had no idea who he was ,when I told him he got his autograpgh.RIP Gordon.
RIP Gordon. His playing days were a bit before my time, but he was a great pundit. Heart goes out to Hayley and the rest of his family
Very raw when he first played for Leeds but made the position his own when big Jack retired. RIP to another great player from my youth.
Started off as a steel worker (as all the best do! ). Superb centre half, who rarely lost a battle in the air. R.I.P. Gordon.
6 foot 2 eyes of blue big Gordon is after you na na na na na na na. Bumped him to him at Scunthorpe 15 yrs ago he was scouting for some team can't remember. Top bloke was one of My heroes till he went to manure with big Joe. Rip big man
