    I'll be bitterly disappointed if we lose him to Swansea. Never really threatened to make the play offs last season, and been playing in a style that is the complete opposite to how Duff had us playing, so not the best move for Duff either.

    This is why I wanted us to get a contract offer in front of him. Our plan cannot be to simply hope nobody comes in with the compo fee in his contract, we'll never have any stability that way. We need him to commit in a way that the club is in complete control of if he stays or goes for another year.
