    To be fair they posted about a young Welsh lad in our academy yesterday and today they've posted about job vacancies at Oakwell. They're either willingly inviting pelters, they know something we do in regards to Duff staying or they're daft.

    The biggest disappointment for me - and I still believe Duff will stay, maybe I'm incredibly naive - is that I'm pretty sure Duff has entertained the Swansea move. If he hadn't and was 100% committed to the club, there is nothing to stop him asking the club to put out a statement along the lines of, I've seen the rumours, I've heard the noise, but I'm fully committed to the project and what I'm trying to build at Oakwell. He hasn't done that, and that tells me that Swansea's approach (as reported in the mainstream media channels) is being looked at by Duff and he's weighing up his options.

    I think those other posts are fair enough, just business as usual content. But I imagine they knew what was coming when asking people to buy season tickets just as the coach is about to leave.

    I think he's as good as gone. Just waiting on formalities between Swansea and Southampton on Martin's compo, then will be announced.

    This would hold up in the 90s pre-mobile, when people went on holiday and actually switched off, relying on a postcard to communicate with home (that would often arrive after you yourself landed back on British soil), but if he's on a beach somewhere he's going to be aware of it. And a text only takes a second to send: put that statement out Khaled lad, I'm going nowhere! In fact, if he was on a beach I'd wager our comms team would put something out to dispel the myth.

    I'm not techy at all, but I'd be surprised if these tweets aren't on some sort of timer, and just get fired off at regular intervals. That ones probably been set to go at that time for weeks. It's funny watching all the morons on twitter replying with 'announce xyz' etc not realising nobody at the club is actually reading what they've put.
