That's a lot of buggery. Are you starting a sodomy campaign?

Yep. I find cryptic comments like this frustrating and unhelpful tbh. Just give us a factual update. He’s either speaking with them or he isn’t. This just smacks of exit terms negotiation to me. We really shouldn’t be the last to know.

We've had players do it. We accepted a bid for Barnard from Southampton. He spoke to them, they offered him much more money, they were in a higher league, but he preferred it here and stayed.

I honestly thought he would stay but who knows what he's being told at Oakwell about losing players etc.

We’ve also had managers turn down other clubs after speaking to them and vice versa when we’ve approached. As much as I think he’s gone, there was always a possibility he may have turned it down on another day.

We move on. Duff did a brilliant job this season but we are expected to be up near the top. I thoroughly expect that to be the same next season if the right boss is appointed.

And then the next game he smacked one into the top corner to put us 6-0 up before halftime. Halcyon days.

That Tweet by JAQ is very odd. It's addressed to the Barnsley FC Twitter account, who apparently don't know what's going on at Oakwell. JAQ is going to update them when she can.

When she tells them, will they tell us?

Don’t use Twitter but would guess by tagging the club means anyone following the club will see it.

Yeah, she’s using that handle to address the collective fan base rather than the Club

It’s just so Barnsley-we would get involved in a “chain”, but like buying a house, and are waiting on a 3rd club to do something in order to know if our manager is leaving a week, and counting, after it had been rumoured. This stand-off between saints and Swansea over compensation has been going on for weeks and was apparently “sorted” a few days back according to rumour, well if that’s true why haven’t they announced Martin as their new manager yet???

If that is the case, it does fly in the face of his comments when he joined. But if he is gone, it's up to the board now to make sure it's not so disruptive that we'd have been better off not employing him in the first place.

And we're seemingly powerless to set any sort of deadline.

No I follow the club but that doesnt appear in my timeline - but then twitter is so screwed these days even if the club had tweeted it there is no guarantee I will see it either

That Tweet will only appear in your timeline if you follow JAQ. The only functional reason I can think of for her tagging in the club account is if she is expecting it to be retweeted by the club.

Or if people do a Twitter search for '@barnsleyfc' to see who's tagged the club in tweets.
