Just a little reminder that when fans were hyping you up Michael duff left you sidelined for a long period in September and October, playing the likes of Josh Martin ahead of you.

Think about that lack of faith in you if any offers to join him at Swansea come in.

 

Swansea forum are already waiting for Connell and Andersens arrival.

 

Andersen is probably leaving anyway, so I really don't care as long as they outbid Luton.

As far as Luca is concerned I would hope that we tell Swansea where to stick whatever they offer up their arses. Not for sale.

 

All players have their market value... Swansea price should be 200% of that.

Agree with the sentiment though. Unless someone offers us many multiples of millions (double for Swansea) then we shouldn’t even entertain anything. He’s absolutely key to us and I think everyone can see that.

 

It’s about time we stopped letting players & managers walk all over us, tell any team that comes in for Luca to piss off unless they make a silly offer, He’s probably worth £10million in todays market. Well let’s demand £10million! Instead of accepting a derisory offer like we usually do.

The 10m is excessive but to bottle him for the miss given he'd done the work of two men for near 70 minutes and still managed to bust a gut to get there is harsh. Why not blame Thomas for not trusting himself to shoot?

If we sell any players to them, I hope our board are ready for the fans response that they would fully deserve.

 

Fans won’t mind so much if they believe we got a fair price for them, especially if much of that is reinvested in the team.

 

Yeah but we can't keep an unsettled player so we took what we were offered.

 

Why not? If he wants to get a good move nearer the end of his contract he has to knuckle down and perform. If he doesn't and sulks he gets dropped and loses his marketability.

 

I expect us to lose a few this summer like Mads for example. But if we sell anyone to Swansea the board will deserve what comes at them from fans and the goodwill that has took some getting back will be lost and much harder to win back second time around. Food for thought for the board.

 

I think he will be gone with any million + offer. But let's hope we keep him.

Respectfully disagree. If we receive final bids around £1.5m for Mads but they come in over £2m to get their man we absolutely should sell him to them! It’s business. Sadly.

 

Can deffo see him going for Andersen and Styles. Tom Edwards really fitted into his system as well so wouldn’t surprise me if he tried to get him in from Stoke.

Their fans seem to think they’re quite skint so can’t see them spending loads unless they sell.
