    Read the replies, some comments about the huge number of coaches we've gone through in recent years, no ambition etc. Not sure why people ae having a go at her.

    Most head coaches in football have clauses. He probably wouldn't have signed without one.

    Perhaps it was a pre-condition that Duff insisted upon? Also, isn’t it the case that the trigger figure doesn’t necessarily mean the figure actually paid, it’s the minimum to be paid?

    They do but I think it's a bit odd to sign a manager with that clause then moan on twitter about it.

    That’s what glass ceiling meant to me, although I doubt it. I was going to make a funny comment about JAQ being our next manager with that comment and then the ‘let’s get to it’.

    Because she will know duff more than us. If he's gave us the billy ******** in a interview. What's he said to the board members behind close doors?

    As for the release clause (if he had one) Most managers have them.

    I've been against the board in the past but they offered him a new contract and he's duffed off.

    I told my mate at 5 a side tonight (Charlton fan) about the imminent departure of our head coach. He said, is that the one who got smacked by Joey Barton? I said we've had 4 managers since then! My mate couldn't believe it. It's actually 5 isn't it, Struber, Ismael, the Chuckle Brothers, and Duff. 7 if you include the 2 caretaker stints, Muzza and Disco. Granted Stendel left in 2019, but that's only 4 summers ago.
