    If so, I wouldn't mind getting Powell in for an interview for the job here.

    He did pretty well as a manager before at this level. Guess it depends on the style of football.

    Wouldn’t surprise me if we went with a British manager who’s done something in Sweden. Khaled will have his own contacts but that podcast he did last week made me think he’s keen on utilising the Swedish leagues like we did with Austria.

    There’s an English coach over there who’s worked with Norway and Finland as well as bounded about in the Norwegian and Swedish top leagues. He’s only 40 but totally forgot his name as it was mentioned on an article I was reading.

    Wouldn’t surprise me if it was something like him.

    I think people forget what a mess Wednesdays were in, point deductions. Transfer embargo’s, a right mess when he took over - did a similar job to Duff, got them straightened out, fans on board record run. I think people have fallen for the pig fans own inflated sense of self-worth “they’re massive” narrative.

    If they'd placed him on gardening leave then that might be the case, but if they've terminated his contract outright he'd have got a lump sum.

    Depends on individual deals, loads of cases out there where coaches refused jobs as was still being paid.

    Their wage bill was about 30% more than anybody elses in League One, and the football was still w*nk. It's a no from me.
