Anyone know if it's open yet ? Got son & grandkids visiting next week & I'd like to take them down & buy them summatt. They live in America so these opportunities don't come around that often.
I was told by someone who claims to have been told by someone from the club ticket office that it should be open for the first pre season home friendly - not sure when that is or how reliable that info is.
A competent football club would have their new kits out by now ready to sell to folk wanting shirts for their holidays etc, unfortunately we aren’t one of them. The new shirt should have been out last week to possibly profit on Father’s Day sales but that’s just far too much work for our club apparently.
Only 8 league one clubs have released this season’s kit so far. Only 12 championship teams. 6 premier league teams still to release theirs. Same every year. We’re never the last, although I think we might be this year…
I'll probably do what I did last season and save myself money by buying at the end of the season when it's a lot cheaper. By not being out it's already missed father's day, my birthday and my first holiday of the year. It will come out sometime in July so spend nearly fifty quid (possibly more with price rise rumours around) to wear it for two months before it starts getting colder and it's hidden under a jumper and/or coat until it warms back up near the end of the season.
I have to say - and I don’t like to be negative about this type of thing because some people may buy them and like them, and it's all subjective of course - but I was hugely underwhelmed looking through all that. The retro top with the huge badge.. the amateurish tees.. I'm guessing this is the new sports clothing collab (can't remember the name) just 'dropped'? Dropped a clanger in my view, would genuinely rather wear this bad boy: https://amzn.eu/d/5YNCiIr
No, this isn't the New York designer guy's stuff. I think this is just basic Fanatics genetic club merch
That's what I was thinking of mate, the Fanatics stuff. Not Super Ted, his stuff is way more flamboyant.
I think that's the worst set of clothing I've ever seen the club sell, not one remotely appealing item there. The huge garish badges look horrible.
Can't help feeling that this stuff is aimed less at fans looking to buy stuff and more at people looking to buy stuff for fans. I wouldn't buy any of them but I know for a fact that both my wife and mother would happily log onto the club shop and buy some of those for me because why wouldn't I like it? It's BFC merchandise. It's all good, right?
