Train to elsecar just walk 10 minutes down from station or there's 66 bus every half hour after 6 from town .avoids getting car out and can have a few drinks.
That's a good point and one I'd not considered. They definitely did sell lagers and I'm sure they did the odd cider, albeit "craft" ones - but just having a couple of taps dedicated to the mainstream ones would've solved that I guess. Plus some spirits.
Ridiculously expensive. used to go every month but last time I was there spent 100 quid in 2 hours on average food and pints in plastic glasses listening to an appealing ‘club turn’. So with that I’m out.
