So Mads is a gonner but weve bought a new centre half. we've lost Bobby Thomas but we still have Moon if he's brought back. Cundy is a back up but not a 1st choice for me and McCarthy is fit again. obviously Liam will be doing what Liam does. Collins for Isted is on but the worry remains Connell. doesn't look like were recalling Styles so need to keep Connell. main area for most of us is up front but so far no movement in this area....keep Connell get striker and look at loans...
He's a Barnsley player, under a long term contract. Whether he will still be a Barnsley player at the end of August is to be seen.

Not sure I would bench Phillips, who was by far our most productive midfielder in terms of goals and assists.
100% I think he’ll be our stand out defender. Don’t let the Southend spell cloud things, he’s top quality.
Not sure, but with what I’ve seen Cundy isn’t. Could possibly have Williams in back 3 instead and stick Cotter wing back

Anyone who selects a team with Kane in it and not Phillips should be immediately required to donate their eyeballs to medical science, as it's clear they're simply wasting the gift of sight.
Tad harsh but I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment. Phillips, like Connell, has to be part of our starting midfield when available imo.
Interesting choice by Granty to include Iseka. thought when he first came he would develop nicely but instead seemed to switch off. maybe another spell in a more motivated environment would do the trick...agree with tyketical masterstroke ( although not worded as strongley) that I would include Phillips for Kane especially if Connell and Styles played
