    I would have no issue with it other than the delay. If we we’re definitely appointing Martin then should have done it immediately after Duff left.

    This is what is puzzling me. If we are appointing MD then he should have been in by now really.

    That's why I'm thinking they maybe are going external. That or they are just being super slow yet again.

    Means nowt. Ince was 1/2 for Wendy job. Now 6/1. Devaney isn't short enough for there to be "merit" imo

    Be more like, sorry I just can't be bothered to go through all the recruitment **** again, all the research, interviews etc just for the Head Coach I pick to piss off again in twelve months the first time another club meets the release clause we keep putting in the contracts. Or you decide to sack em after Six months cause the crowd start singing sack the board. So I'll just give the job to Martin

    Or discussing the role with all candidates and will pick the best fit. I know it's a head coach but man management is the most crucial part for me. To get the best out of the players.

    I don't see speaking to available managers alongside Devaney before a decision is made as problematic.

    Yes, time is against us as 'Long Haul' left us up **** creek, but I don't think it has to be Disco immediately if there's others out there. They're at least worth speaking to, to establish who's best. It doesn't mean he isn't if we're willing to consider others too.
